well you know I like hearing advice and pointers, but I don't need to be singled out as unworthy of the task at hand by someone that doesn't even know me. I have spoke to Buck in great lengths as to the safty aspect of me being on his track and he has assured me that I will be safe as you can be when particpating in a sport such as motorcycle riding. It wont be long before Liberty Motorsports will be in full swing and that track is about four miles from my house so I will probably become a track for sure. Thanks for sticking up for me and maybe you can come out.

dealing w/ new riders and also having done trackdays i have alot more insight then most people. maybe even buck.

nana, you'll prolly be alright, and you'll learn alot.

i recommend people have a few thousand miles under their before they hit the track. that way they are comfortable on a bike and w/ the controls.

and thats why i asked you the question that i did. and did i say you shouldn't be on the track after i learned of your "experience" had you had less seat time, it would have been a diff. post.

you don't read too well do you... she has had several past motorcycles. YOU have no idea how many miles she has under her belt. she just doesn't have many miles on this particular motorcycle. And I am quit sure that buck handles his beginner track noobs well enough. Why don't you lay off with the almighty BS.

I hear ya, no harm done, I agree I would love to have more seat time but it is what it is and i can't really change my experience level from what it is. I will say that if I get on the track and realize that I am out of my comfort level I will exit the track. If I see that I am putting others in danger from me being out there I will exit the track, but I gotta give it a shot right.

from past experience when Tim took his busa to the track it was a chore. He said it was so heavy that the handling was not what it is on the road and he was sore as can be from wrestling it around the track all day. Not trying to bust any bubble, just trying to give input of past track day for refference. He said he would have much rather been on a smaller liter bike for the track.

oh I know... the rc51 was no light weight itself. I had to work it hard too. The busa weighs only 50 pounds more than the rc51 did. An aftermarket exhaust and wheels will make it weigh the same as the rc. I didn't buy the busa for a track mule... the 675 will be dedicated to that later down the road. I am just curious.
