Tobacco does indeed have physiological effects on brain activity. Just because you may not notice that you're "f ucked up" doesn't mean that your thought processes aren't affected.

Also, the fact that marijuana '****s with your brain' is a non-issue to me. So what if it '****s with your brain?' Who is the government to tell you what you can put into your body?

Medical uses of marijuana? If there are any they aren't relevant to the discussion of whether or not pot should be a criminalized substance. Medical use of marijuana remains in the sphere of medicine. Recreational use of marijuana is a wholly separate issue.

Heroin, coke, X, caffeine, whatever. Yes, all should be legalized and regulated. The government is not a babysitter nor a parental figure. Freedom of choice is what's so nice about consciousness.

All the folks who want to rely on big-guv to set the rules and make their choices for them are nancy boys as far as I'm concerned.

When you smoke a cig, you are getting high off of it, just on a much smaller scale. First cegarette one ever smokes will give them a buzz.

And if you smike enough cigarettes in a row, you would loose control and possibly die of nicatene overdose. That would just take a lot.

Ever seen "Thank you for smoking" with the nicotene pathces?

but it's ok to walk down the street in mardi gras all mashed? drunks and smokers* don't behave the same. not that I agree that either should be driving around in a car.
it should be personal preference, not govt interference.

go ahead and ban cola, fast food, anything deep fried, energy drinks, and everything else that is bad for you....not to mention alcohol cigarettes and sportbikes.

grow up, live and let live.....if someone wants to smoke one does it really twist up your panties that much?

Not a smoker and I agree completely. Weed/alcohol/cigarettes, all the same to me. :dontknow: None of it bothers me as long as you don't let any of it completely consume you.

you gotta be a fawkin moron if you think inhaling smoke (no matter the source) doesnt have any ill effects on your body. For those people that say a cigarette is more toxic than smoking a joint, i should slap the stupid out of you!

***on another note, im not against the potski... i think it should be legalized in all honesty, it would make a great taxable revenue source for our country. I just dont like hearing stupid information like "pot isnt bad for you" or "a cigarette is more toxic than a joint". personally i think the occasional tokeage is far healthier than the occasional alcohol binge.

what the is the difference between a stoner walking down the street high

and a drunk down the street?

stoners - prone to non-violence, lazy, stay to themselves

drunks - prone to do things they normally wouldnt, such as....violence, rape, crime, etc.

So smoking ANYTHING is not going to be good.

So release the thc in alcohol. Then the worse thing is alcohol.

Cook thc in butter. Then the worse thing is the butter.

losing Inhibitions...yeah some folks, not all. (depends on what ya smoke)

Losing muscle control? That must be some dank there!

You smoke cigarettes? If you do (other smokers chime in) I'm sure you'd remember the first few times you smoked. You got a good buzz, maybe even a little dizzy. And what are smokers like when they don't have a cigarette for a day or so? , that's what. And you're telling me it doesn't affect your thought process???
