I would have to drive it to see how smooth the action is. Off hand the answer is yes. Although I must say I am more old school and like a manual tranny or a ratchet shifter.

it is manual right? supposed to have a better shifter feel than my 996tt. with a gate like that. it will prob make that click click noise that ferrari shifters make

not the turbo it won't but it does better than the naturally aspirated models.

If that diesel can get all that torque to the ground it will be really impressive.

It is not meant to compete with the turbo. It is priced to be placed inbetween the C4S and gt3. This is the info i recieved after i spoke to a sales at Momentum Audi

The R8 is Built by Lamborghini.
Its basicaly a Gallardo with an Audi engine,

124K new.

I got to Drive in one and they are OK.
Now the s5 its great looking but ill Keep my bmw 335! Cheaper and Faster

The price is 109k

The chassis is the Gallardo"s ther than the fact that they went with the Audi style control arms. It is not built by lambo. They share the same plant but on two different Lines. The chassis for both cars are not built at the same plant either.

I work for Audi on katy freeway... veh cost around 130,000 fully loaded... 1 to 2 year wait on the veh, we currently have 11ppl on the list, three have been sold and delivered from our dealership... great looking car... 4.2L v8 420 hp... S5 is a 4 to 6 month wait.... the 335i is not faster than the S5... they have both been tested at 4.8 0to60, My girlfriend has the 335i and ive driven the S5 several times, the only way one is going to beat the other depends on the driver...
