Apache fly by

Last night on my way home, for those of you who know 290 really well, it was on the section between Hempstead and Chappel Hill, where the highway is a lot higher than the pastures, almost like you are on a 2 mile long bridge, but it is just raised. Well I hear a noise to my right, and there is a dang apache flying next to me. Crazy thing is I never heard him coming, those things are quiet as . He couldn't have been more than 75-100ft off the ground. I could see the pilot out of my passenger window he was so low. He continued ahead of me to a point where I thought he was going to hit the trees at the Brazos river, he pulled up on a steep climb, banked and turned to follow the river.

Well I love helicopters, especially apaches so it was kinda neat. I wonder why he was flying so close to the highway like that. I swear he couldnt have been more than 50ft from my window.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Famous last words.
I had a similar situation once. I'll never forget it.

oh i agree completely, its just cool. I grew up with a huge fascination for the apache. I felt like a little 10yr old boy watching it fly next to me. They looked like they were having fun and I was jealous.
