Just FYI I'll personally testify to the fact that I have seen faster than a 1:52 on Brandon's lap timer riding a SV at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

The only problem I can imagine would be if you ever wanted to race it, A SV1000 is really only competetive in one class and that is at a novice level only really. Thats Heavyweight Twins, but just as a trackday bike they workd really well.

Luke Conlin used to school the big Italians with his SV1000 (and 650 in some cases!). Great bike, basically a SV650 with a better stock suspension and swingarm, plus more cc's.
