50cc Gran Prix! 2-15-08

The first, best, most exciting 50cc Gran Prix!!!!

Friday, February 15th 2008

Be there at 7:00PM
Race starts at 7:01PM

Where: League City Exit from 45, 2094 Exit from 146, Right next to the fairways Apartment Complex, across from Burger King (2094 and Enterprise)
There is a new "Shopping Center" and Large Business Building next to each other.

When: Saturday, February 15th 2008 - Be there at 7:00PM Race starts at 7:01PM.

Rules: Must be there on time and have already pre-registered in the race, Stunt spot is open to whoever. Must have a 50cc or lower bike, some excepts are accepted - For instance, I have a 110cc but suspension is completely bouncy, has knobby tires, and is an off-brand. Tops same as a 50cc.
As long as it is a 50, it can have the kits on them for more cc's.

Gear: Jeans required and helmet required, for your upper, you can wear whatever, your choice on road rash or not.

Let's try and have a great time! This might soon be a tradition!

Where the grass is in the cirle below, it is now actually a shopping center and is full cement. Google has not updated their maps.

Let's just make sure there aren't any banana peels on the "track."

it's a run til they stop you kind of thing... but we had some popos stop in the lot last saturday night, FINALLY about 1:45am... BS'ed with them for a few minutes, they just told us to be careful and left. i've been out there so many times and that is the first time cops stopped by, i think they were bored. we've seen some up at burger king watching and laughing.

and i think we should do night time... less obvious to the general public, say start at 8:00, and maybe do it on friday the 15th since there are trackdays on the 16th

nope, just bring a 50... or something similar, and you may want a helmet and/or gear. it was really just where i go out to stunt on the 50, but there was 3 bikes out there last time and so make a makeshift track and started racing each other... then we realized how fun that would be if there was like ten 50's racing around!! i'll take a video of it later tonight and post it up

Okay the final date is Friday, February 15th. Be there at 7:00PM, race starts at 8:00PM. I asked Chris will be changing the date on the thread title. We have had many cops stop by and pass by while out there stunting and they don't care.
