Where was this at? My ZX-14 was stolen a few months ago with a description that fits yours. I'm pretty sure the description of the thieves fits a lot of cases but would be interesting to have them questioned on my theft or to know where they're fencing through.

I cant beleive you guys leave your bikes out all night. I dont feel safe parking at any apartment overnight with my truck much less the bike.

My gf sons bicycle got stolen from a second story balcony 2 days after he got it.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Too many bad comments to comment to, but here is one <the name was removed as I am not trying to insult anyone>

Incorrect... see the penal code (solyjr so kindly posted):

DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property: (1) if he would be justified in using force against the other under Section 9.41; and (2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary: (A) to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime; or (B) to prevent the other who is fleeing immediately after committing burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the nighttime from escaping with the property;

To translate that into common folks talk (notice the OR, not the AND in the penal code above): If you think they are about to steal your property at night, to prevent them from doing so, you can shoot to kill!!!

But anyway, just wanted to clarify that for those that are saying that you can't shoot unless they have it in possesion or whatever...

And as Jet said, if you pull the gun, be prepared to shoot... cuz now, they know you have a gun and if they are that you positive ID them... they are going to come at you with guns, and if not them, maybe some of their homies... and if not directly to you, maybe against whomever is in the apartment when they come...

Well, unless you scared the sh*t out of them and they change their ways.

I'd move.

Glad you got the garage. After reading everyone elses posts I think you should also ask for an empty apartment on the other side of the complex?
