CCS Corner workers Heads up

Hey guys, thanks again for making the weekend a great sucess. I spoke with Travis today and he mentioned there may have been a mistake on the checks. There were a couple of MSRH corner guys in there and they only make 75.00 per day. The lady made all the checks out the same. So....if you didn't recieve payment for all the time you spent out there, email Travis at travis_marshal(at)ccs-south.com and he will get you taken care of. He appologized to me and wants to make sure everyone was taken care of the same way you guys took such great care of the racers. (that is a stand up guy to initiate contact!) Or if you are satisfied, you can let it go back to the CCS so they can put it back into the club. Your call, but again, thanks for all your help.

They can keep my $15. I learned a LOT, had a great time, and really didn't have to do too much. Everyone I came in contact with from CCS were hilarious as well, and a pleasure to work with. I'll definatly be out there every MSR event, and maybe TWS (Texas World Speedway).

BTW, I like your new title.

I couldn't help myself with the title. I saw a pic in one post of a start where I'm already 20-30' down the track and you can still see guys on the grid with their feet down. Never wait to see what color the flag is, I promise it will be the green one. When the tip of the stick twitches, I'm gone.
(Okay it probably helped that I was scared shitless going into a wet turn one in my first expert races, frankly I didn't want to wait around and see how it went down) And the drag night was a big help as I had never launched the bike in anger before. Dragstrip = best start practice ever. (Stiller voice) DO it!

^That's a great pic of Larry backing it in in front of Ty Howard. He may want a copy of that! Buck was truly the Holeshot King! Great launches!

No big deal on the checks. What we did get will help cover next trackday!
