Re: Six Flags Astroworld apprently shutting down

I used to like it a lot durring "Fright fest" i swear i saw a real vampire couple there eating pretzels!

Too many vomit soaked rides now. I saw someone themselves on the dungen drop last time i was there. I guess i'm a germ-a-phob now.

But I think i'd still like to make one last trip out there. Ya'll let me know. how about this weekend?

Re: Six Flags Astroworld apprently shutting down

you guys do know that it has to get the ok from investors/financial backers before its final...plus even if it does get the ok they have a real estate agent hired to sell the property so there is a chance that it will still remain a theme park...just tryin to shine some light on the topic, even though i think its gotten kinda trashy lately (will splash town stay open since its now owned by six flags)

Re: Six Flags Astroworld apprently shutting down

sorry -- its a done deal. The rides are coming down and being sent to other parks. The rest will be demolished. I think it sucks but it is gonna happen.

Re: Six Flags Astroworld apprently shutting down

i'm thinking what that park up was season passes. that meant the parents that don't give a were able to have daycare all summer long for the price of one season pass. when kids are left up there all day unsupervised trouble is bound to happen.

Dang, I wonder if we could buy the dungeon drop... We could hook it up in my field after we pressure wash the poo off of it.
