CCS THANKS!!!

What a weekend...I was suppose to be in huntsville with my wife for the weekend, a mini-vacation we scheduled about 2 months ago, guess who forgot about the CCS races being that weekend.... I finally was able to convince her to allow me to leave late saturday night so I could be there to spectate for sundays races, this is where it gets interesting. I got a phone call from PRE-K, something along the lines of, I've got a bike, don't be a pansy and go racing... so I start the thinking process, leave fri for huntsville, return late sat night/early sun morning, sleep for maybe 2 or 3 hours and still be able to make sun practice/registration in order to race. I run this by the wife and without hesitating she simply suggested that I should not worry about the trip and make sat practice to be ready for sunday...

Devy-THANK YOU for encouraging me to race, you truly are the best, love ya!!!

Todd(pre-k), Dasilva, and Wells(B-dubb)...for providing a bike that I could ride, I owe you guys bigtime...

Buck Beasly, Larry Meyers and Longhorn Motorcycle School....words of encouragement, guidance and wisdom, I wouldn't be here without you guys, Thank you again.

Derek Steptoe,Jason(riddler),and Jerry Scott(txslide)...derek helped me get the bike sorted and setup, Thanks again d-money. Jerry for allowing me the use of his tools and Jason for always stepping in and helping out.

Motohouston community...to those that offered words of encouragement, helpful tips and for showing up taking pics and offering congratulations....Thanks guys it really means alot....

sorry If I missed anyone....already looking forward to the next race!!!

i have to say Alonzo did a fine job yesterday. When a lot of people were packing up and leaving due to the weather, Alonzo was gridding up with less than optimal tires and still ran a nice clean race and took home 3rd in front of Charles sackey no less! It was a drag race out of the last turn to the finish. I wasn't even racing and I was nervous for him. haha Good job Alonzo .

Great to see you out there Gonzo. For a bike you had never rode, that was a of a ride. You had no idea how close Sackey was behind you in the final turn. Well, maybe you did since your Mom was screaming at the top of her lungs.."Go Baby GO!!!" Funny stuff. You weren't 30' over the line when she asked me how to keep you racing. Seems she took the advice. We've got some work to do before April. Good ride Alanzo.......
