What your LEAST favorite part about riding?

For me its being stuck behind someone who is smoking.. For some reason everyone had their windows down and was smoking (windows down cuz of nice day, smoking cuz they want to die a slow death)

post up and voice your least favorite part about riding a bike

Not knowing if some idiot driver is going to kill me.
I got rear ended in the cage when I first got here and it seemed like I saw a lot of accidents my first summer here. Ever since I've done my best to not ride on the road. I've never seen worse drivers. In Hawaii they were slow but not so stupid.

putting on and taking off my gear, putting on my gloves to realize I didn't either, zip my jacket, take my key out of my pocket or strap my helmet.

LOL!!!! You just described me. And I wear glasses, so I gotta take em off put on my helmet, then put em back on, then the jacket, then the helmet strap.....you get the point. And I always screw up the sequence.

Oh yea, and I hate the bugs that commit suicide on my visor.

Worrying about what others will do. Talking on cell phones, playing with the radio and not paying attention. I have tried to make it a point to stay in gear at stop lights if I see someone is coming up behind me and might hit me. I always try and stay to the side a little in reference to the car in front of me so I can possibly lane split and not get rearended. I saw a couple of YouTube vids that made me think to do this.

You have to constantly be watching and not let your guard down for a second when you are on a bike. I would love to take my mirrors off my bike so it will look better but I need those things. They stay.

i hate it when people whine about other people smoking inside their own cars. they seem more concerned about someone elses instead of their i.e. breathing in those toxic fumes from something called an exhaust pipe right in front of your face.
