Changing out gears/trans on ZX7

Is it possible to put the gearing from a ZX750N (zx7rr) on a ZX750P(zx7r)?

Same engine, just different gearing... i think??

one thing about kawasaki is they offer OEM peformance upgrades. not sure what they will have for those models if anything, but you can check.

i know for most of the new bikes you can get OEM peformance camshafts and stuff like that, maybe transmission too.

one other way to check would be to go to ronayers.com look up the crankcase and see if they are the same part number. if so, then your chances are pretty good.

same "set- crankcase" part number. I'm guessing its exactly the same besides the gearing. Might give a call to patrick to find out.
