So...I got stung by a bee while riding...

Yeah so, we were riding the back way on FM 439 to Killeen for my friend's sons little birthday get together, when all of a sudden i get a burning sensation (felt like a fire ant) on my left inner thigh area.

At first I thought it was my jeans pinching me or something,At first I thought it was my jeans pinching me or something, so I moved around and tried to adjust, but it didn't help, it kept burning. So i reached down and felt around the area that was burning, felt something kinda sticking out and pulled it out, and lo and behold it was a black stinger. :/:

So i pulled up next to Jason and told him to pull over and I looked down and sure enough there was a small wet spot on my jeans where I had mushed the bee :/:

Good thing I'm not allergic to them like my mom is :/:

Same thing happened to my Dad, sorta, about 15 years ago. He was riding to Abeline TX to see his folks. Going down the highway about 75-80 a yellowjacket flew up his long-sleeve shirt sleeve and started stinging him on the chest. He frantically pulled over and started stripping on the side of the road. He said a couple of guys stopped to see if he was okay, which he was. He tells the story pretty funny. I know I'll never forget it.

Put the coffee down, and back away.

Sorry to hear that, it sucks when that happens. Not a lot you can do at the moment though.

those can do some damage too, i bet that would knock you off the bike. I hit one in my mustang at over 100, it cracked my windshield and mangled my antenna.

I got stung in the face by a hornet. Had my visor open and was cruising through the neighborhood at like 35mph. Felt like I got hit with a baseball bat.

I had two of the litle buggers get caught in my jacket a few years back.
Each one stung me twice in the chest, I thought I was having a heart attack!
