Re: Dropped the bike.. replace brake lever?

Ami,
It's an easy job; There is a 10mm nut under the lever on the bottom of the screw, make sure you loosen it first. Put a little grease on the brake lever bushing and make sure the brake switch tab doesn't get jammed.

Re: Dropped the bike.. replace brake lever?

You know Ami, I'd hate to have you drive with that bad brake lever for someone to install the new one so...
Once you get the new one in, let me know and I'll make the trip to come and install it for you

Re: Dropped the bike.. replace brake lever?

Hi Din!
SOooO,* I went to look at exactly how to take off the old lever and umm looks more complicated than a screw. And of course I don't have a screwdriver THAT small. haha
As soon as the part comes in, I think I'm gonna play it safe and have someone that knows what they're doing replace it
And for who was asking about my bike.. its a CBR F4... this is it.. before it man handled me and fell down. LOL
48951789Sept8020
I'll definitely be PM'ing someone when the lever comes in.* Thanks everyone.
