Re: "The Hill" REPORT

I had a great time on our little trip to the hill, working corner 4 with gianni and carlos was fun. *I'm glad everyone is "ok" that took a spill.
Brandon, dude my heart sunk whenever we saw you ahead of Cory and then you didn't pop out of turn 3...then we heard "rider down in turn 3, he's getting up, bike number 214" *I was like freakin suck.
Anyways, count me in this off season on turning a few laps out there with you guys.

Re: "The Hill" REPORT

ahhh that was you guys out there in four. i kept seeing you guys and giving you a little wave on the cool down laps, but i wasnt sure who it was. right: yeah it sure sucked. dude everything felt great too, that was one of the first times ever that once i got around cory i didnt feel a little anxious to go faster or i should say rider harder, i was riding smooth everything was flowing and then BAM, i'm sliding across the pavement. ohh well i still have one more chance at him at TWS (Texas World Speedway), i got him there last time, gonna try to take the sweep in all 4 races. that will be the second time this year if i do it. see you guys out there.

You guys obviously don't know Ronnie.
In order to salvage his season standings for 2nd place in 3 classes he has to at least do a couple of laps.
He'll do what ever it takes.

Re: "The Hill" REPORT

We just going to duct-tape his effected hand/arm to the handlebar... and push him on his way. Or I'll strap a tow rope to his bike, and pull him around the track... we'll just need to put a sign on the back of his leathers that says "In-tow".

Re: "The Hill" REPORT

I put my collar bone into 3 pieces at 38 years of age and was snow skiing 4 weeks to the day.
It can "heal" enough to ride in less than 3 weeks!!!!!

I would have to totaly agree with that. Javier I think you were the one that took too long to heal.
Dude didn't u see Tommy Hayden race at Laguna with a broken hand?? He broke it in the morning and by 3pm that same day he was racing his supersport race! WITH A FRESH BROKEN HAND! When you're at the top you'll give/do what it takes to get it done. I have faith in Ronnie... he'll get it done right:

Hey guys,

Patrick mentioned this thread to me yesterday and of course I found it both entertaining and interesting!

What most folks didn't know is that I have an almost unnatural ability to recoup from wounds or serious injury. Something that has served me well in the 33 years I have lived thus far.

With the exception of the morphine I was given as it was set back into place, I have subsisted on Advil since the injury. I have heard horror stories of how painful they can be but I am pleased to report that I have escaped such misfortune.

The collarbone has been pain free since Monday Sept 26. I already have full motion of the shoulder but it is not strong enough to support any additional weight greater than 5lbs.

All that said I finished 2nd and 3rd in the races I entered this past Sunday. It was nice to take the checkered flag to end what has been a very memorable season.

Now, who bet against me and what did I win? :nono:
