CCS Corner Workers LOOK!!!

Just got in from the track, here's what you need to know.........

I've had several cancelations, but we should be good as I kind of counted on this. On the oposite side of that coin, the CCS staff has a few they brought with them so we will have plenty. If they do not need all of you, all you get is free admission for showing up. TO MAKE SURE YOU GET A SPOT, BE READY TO GO EARLY. Practice starts on Saturday at 9am, and we will need some help getting stands set up in the corners without the towers. Some corners may get three workers. If you have an EZ-up....BRING IT. May need it, may not, but would rather us have too many. Chairs are also a good idea, just nothing so comfy you'd fall asleep!!!

IT IS MUDDY!!!! Tested it myself today, and it's a sticky as ever. Bring some shoes you can get caked in, as well as another pair incase you get soggy by lunch. There is water UNDER a couple of the fixed stands, hopefully will dry up as the day goes on. Tire vendors were rolling in, Airfence is already in place along pit straight, and it looks like ...."Houston, we have a go." Please be sure to stop by the garage and say hi, so I can offer you my personal thanks as well. Also be sure to throw a wave when you see the MH stickers on the cool down lap, and I'll be waving right back from the #13......

I just pm'd you. I'm signed up but if I'm not DEF. needed, I'd rather not make the 100+ mile drive on sunday.

Sounds to me like the CCS people get first chance and we fill in the extra spots. I thought this was definite, not a race to be there early so that I might get a shot. Thanks, anyway but I'm not interested in watching from the stands.

Safe riding to all the racers!

Actually Nav.........MH folks get first shot. They may not use everyone BOTH days, in which case they will tell you if you are needed for the Sunday races. The corner stands have been moved around and I was asked for a specific number, I just want to make sure you all show up on time and DON'T get bumped. It is what it is, and sorry but it's not my show, I'm just trying to help them out with the first event in Houston.

If we show up by 7-7:15 will that be okay?

We are looking forward to having some fun tomorrow and watching some great racing from the corners.
