I've got 2 of the scorpion's & I really like them (just bought my second), snell cert'd, very comfortable to me and not too big of a cost - I did find a helmet comparison - will post a link when I find it again - pretty sure it included scorpion.

Best,
Fred

Scorpion helmets are rated to be just as great quality as a lot of the more expensive brands. Save money and buy the Scorpion.
My wife went down and smacked her head on the street pretty hard and slid ... not a single crack on it ... and not to mention she came out fine!
Also, Scorpion has some good features like the anti-fog lense (which works) and also the quick release visor, so that you can swap a clear visor with a tinted visor in less than 30 seconds!
I love mine!

I have a shoei RF-1000 and love it! Although I would love to have that anti-fog anti-scratch visor like the scorpion

I didn't really read all the replies, but my advise is to try on all brands of helmets. They all fit a little differently. I really wanted brand A because of a certain paint scheme but I went with brand B because it fit my head like a glove. After that I decided on a paint scheme that brand B offered. believe me after a long day of riding a comfy helmet makes life much more bearable.
