16 Days Til Mexico Trip

16 days until me and a friend leave for our trip to the Mexican pacific coast and Baja. Hereís our planned route:

Big Bend, Chihuahua, Creel, Copper Canyon, Durango, Mazatlan, ferry over to Baja, 3 days riding up the peninsula, LA and then 2 nights in Vegas and shipping our bikes home from there.

I know Iím not going to be wanting to make that long @ss drive from Vegas to Houston after riding so much.

Anyone made that trip before? Hereís our trusty steeds in Acuna last Fall.

It's just not on the bikes in that pictures. I have a big Nelson Riggs tank bag and cortech sport saddle bags and he has cortech tourmaster (I think) saddle bags. We're also going to strap some pretty big duffle bags on the back.

The "mighty KLRs" will be great for a trip like that - do you have the GPS maps for Mexico or are you wandering more than following a set route?

We aren't taking a GPS but we're going to get a map that the Key Map store sells that's supposedly pretty good.
