I dont know if I do or don't. If he shows his face to me then I'll believe there is a . And for all the people that say got me thru and did this and helped me get thru this, have you ever thought that maybe you got you thru it or it just happened cause thats the way the cards were dealt. I think if something happens then they automatically think did it or helped them out when in reality it just happened cause that the way the universe dealt with it! For exapmle if you mother has lung cancer and she goes thru treatment and fights it for 10 years and lives then a christian would say thank and got her thru it when in a nonbeliever would just say that she did treatment for 10 years and bettered herself and her lungs so naturally she did it on her own and there was no to begin with..but I'm still standing on the line of the original question

I believe in . I believe we humans have souls and aren't just animals. placed humans above all other creatures and things of the Earth and just look around; it's very true (the Bible is true). I don't think we just popped out of nowhere from nothing (ever heard of Thermodynamics or entropy). I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of . That he lived on Earth, lived a perfect life and died to be the perfect sacrifice for my mistakes. Most everyone believes he actually lived but some say that he was just a man, or a good teacher, or just a prophet. But what makes Jesus Christ so special? And what about Mohammed or Buddha or whatever? I could go on but I'll keep this short.

"Our Improbable Universe"-Michael Mallery

One other thing:

Many question the existence of - or flatly say he doesn't exist on the strength of the fact that he isn't able to verify through empirical means (that is to say that we cannot measure him or his presence through the scientific method). Does this necessarily impugn his existence? I would think not based on many of the concessions of the scientific community on items which are currently immeasurable yet we regard as being wholly true. An example would be the idea of dark matter. At present, we cannot empirically verify it's existence because it is immeasurable, however, we fully recognize the validity of it being reality because of the fact that the way the universe is held together makes no sense based on the amount of materials which we are able to measure with considerations to the forces which act upon matter as we know it in the known universe such as gravity or heat.

Here is an introduction to the topic of Dark Matter as presented on a subsidient Nasa site:

This allows scientists to determine how much total material (matter) there is in that part of space. Remarkably, it turns out there is five times more material in clusters of galaxies than we would expect from the galaxies and hot gas we can see. Most of the stuff in clusters of galaxies is invisible and, since these are the largest structures in the Universe held together by gravity, scientists then conclude that most of the matter in the entire Universe is invisible. This invisible stuff is called 'dark matter'."

Cajun, sorry but have to adjust your facts:

The existence of the dark matter is nothing like the existence of . The latter cannot be proven or disproven simply by definition of what and faith is.

The dark matter is different. It cannot be "seen" so far. By "seen" the physicists mean that it doesn't emit any electromagnetic radiation that we can detect.
(light is a form of electromagnetic radiation so when we "see" something with our eyes, its the sensitive cells in our eyes detect that radiation)
Dark matter doesn't interact with any other of our detection mechanisms with one important exception - gravitation. We know the dark matter is there because we do detect it's gravitational pull. So yeah, although we cannot "see" the dark matter we are "sure" it is there.
