1) If so, what place for sure does the day after check? i know Jackson H does but they're expensive! i heard Cobalt taxes but dunno?

2) How much usually do you get back from all the Fed. tax withheld, SS tax withheld?

I know if your single and have no dependent, you get a extra $600-$800.

1) Dunno

2) All depends on how much you pay. I am getting back about 55% of mine, but I had a baby this year, I claimed 0 on my W2 and had a baby I can claim. If you claimed 1 on your W2, and that is all you have, don't expect anything.

And the extra money, from what I understand won't be on your return, it will be a seperate check mailed out later in the year.

I usually end up paying $2-4K after paying $35K through the year.
I am in no hurry so I just wait till the last minute before filing.

Yes you can, only way you have a problem is you HAVE to get a divorce after that. Which sounds like you are in that boat anyways.
