I can believe it. I don't know if anyone knows this, but Keith Code (Twist of the Wrist) is also a Scientologist. As such, I'm sure Cruise has learned and received alot of one on one training from the man himself.

I don't know too much about this Scientology thing, other than it seems like a cult to me, but when you're a motorcylist and got an Instructor like Keith Code in the same church, I'm sure you'd take full advantage of it. I think that Desmo's in very capable hands, and will be ridden hard by Cruise at the track.

Too bad Cruise is such a wacko, though. But then, I have heard that Code is kinda out there, too!

You don't have to admit that you wanted one since them (you old guys.)
.
Had a GPZ of my own back in the late 80's.

BTW - IMO, top gun is still a great movie to throw in, crank up the surrond sound, and rattle the walls.

Awesome post. Cruise is a freak cult member. He reminds me of the nutjub that Eddie Murphy played in Bowfinger when Steve Martin call it "Mindf*ck) I loved that movie making fun of that .

The bike don't look like it is worth that much though.

you realize that the desmocidici is pretty much a 2 yr old factory motogp bike right? 240+ hp, 200mph, and about 350lbs. full carbon fiber body work, trick titanium and magnesium components everywhere.

Considering a real motogp can cost over a million dollars and this is basically a motogp machine with lights and mirrors, the $72K price tag really does'nt seem that high.
