1. AE86 (1985-85 hatchback corolla gts) awesome for drifting and kewl little daily

2.DSM ( a mitsubishi or Talon, im looking at a 92tsi talon all wheel drive turbo) sounds like a fun car, ive never been into any other cars but the RX7!!! in other words Rotary engines... but ive seen these cars haul ...and knows i love racing.. so what do u think i should get..let me know

dsm If you want to drag, and I guess the corolla if you want to drift. I miss my dsm, If i could have kept it and had two cars I would have for sure.

I had a 91 TSI AWD back in the day. I still love that car and think about getting another one.
Mine looked just like this one.

I like the DSM's and am a former owner too (93 gsx). They seem to always have issues but its mostly cause someone beat on em too hard..

I know if I ever owned another car it would have to be v8. I mean why not. Most of them get decent mileage now..

everybody and their mom has a dsm. get an ae86. if you do get a dsm get an early 6bolt one so you dont get crank walk. those small rod 7bolts suck. for the same money as the above mentioned, you can also pick up a b5 audi a4. turbo and awd. with a nice interior.

I say DSM. I had a 2nd gen TSI a few years ago...But it's true what everyone says about them, they are a pain, but if your an enthusiast then it's worth the trouble, and they are pretty easy to make quick.

Go with the DSM.....I'm an old school DSM racer, I was hard in the DSM scene back in the mid 90's through about '01-'02. I've had a '93 GST, '95 GST, '96 Talon TSi, and my race car was a '92 GSX. My '92 started out as my daily driver and went 12.99 on less than $1000 worth of mods and 104 octane. It was 100% daily driven at that time and full weight.

yea i went 12.9 on a stock 14b with very few mods. stock sidemount, 190fp, 550inj, safc, running open downpipe, manual boost controler. Then i started wanting some real power, upgraded to a evo III big 16g, 780inj, got an electronic boost controler, built the motor, ported and polished head, cams, aftermarket valves, springs and retainers, stock block with ross pistons, scat rods, arp head studs, DNP manifold, complete suspension, etc. then i started tuning it myself with a wideband. I'll have to take a pic and post my dyno sheet, it was a pretty quick car
