not me but..

I just came across an add for an R1 LE! Yes, the one with all the goodies on it. I think he is asking 10K, I didn't read all 6 pages of posts to see if he came down in price. 1250 miles.

http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=44903

"I also have a 2006 yzf r1 50th aniversary(yelow, white, black) yamaha. it has 1248 miles and is also in mint condition. it has factory bronze wheels and thats all. asking $11000. anyone interested, send me an email. thanks"

he lowered the price to 10K later

This maybe a stupid question but how do the R1 Ohlins forks from Yammie compare to the stuff you purchase aftermarket? For example I've heard many times that the Ohlins damper that come on the Kawi's are junk compared to the aftermarket ohlins stuff.Just curious.

IF AND ONLY IF THE BIKE IS A LE. OTHERWISE, YOU CAN PROBABLY PICK A R1 50TH ANIVERSARY EDITION FOR AS LOW AS $7500 WITH MODERATE MILEAGE. I'VE SEEN THE ADS ON EBAY.

SERIOUSLY, IM PRETTY SURE I HAVE SEEN THAT SAME PICTURE ON EBAY... IT WAS LONG AGO THOUGH. I REMEMBER IT BECAUSE OF THE BACKGROUND.
HE WAS ASKING ABOUT $17000 BACK THEN, I WONDER WHY HE LOWERED THE PRICE SO MUCH?

He's calling it a 50th Anniversary which is different than an LE, that and the price, something's not sounding right there.

Martin,
To answer your question, the Ohlins suspension components on the LE are first rate.

Nice 6k Patrick.

Question fer ya: Is it true that "oem Brembo" is different than the after-market stuff?

goes to show that there are some "quality post-whores"
