I've taken DD after tickets on the bike.

I got a ticket for 28 over in the cage and according to City of Houston I can't take DD or get deferred. I need a suggestion on a lawyer in Houston to help me get deferred or DD. There are a hundred threads with lawyer suggestions, anybody got a good one?

I'm not lookin' to get away with it. I already admitted I was speeding. I just want to keep the penalty as low as possible, or fun if they will let me take the ERC.

Nope, he is there every weekend. Him and a fat lady. The V-1 picked up the laser before I even got over the hill.

None at the moment..... :-(

If your over 25 and havent gotten a ticket within the last 6 months, you can plead deffered judication. Only thing is, you cant get a ticket within 90 days (3 months) and it will be dropped. You'll just have to pay court fees right then and there, but it usually is less than the cost if you pleaded guilty and had to pay the whole thing. Plus, you can only take it, if you were doing 25 and under the posted speed limit. If your not over 25, you can still plead defferd, but you will have to take a defensive driving or MSF course and still not get a ticket within 90 days (3 months)........

He was hiding out by one of the underpasses on the service road. Had his car parked way back out of sight and would step out and shoot with hand held laser. He had a little red flashing light that he held up when he waved me down.

Personally, I would ask for deferred first. Then, if they say no, ask for Defensive Driving.

You can take deferred as many times a year as you want, whereas DDC is only once a year.

Don't really need a lawyer unless you just want to try and fight it and get it dismissed entirely.

If you do end up needing an ERC, we've got a couple listed.
ERC Schedule
