how-to section?

do we or can we get a how-to section , ive seen a few post were people will post up how to lube your chain and such, and i think it would be a good idea to post up (generalized) steps on how to do the basic stuff to your bike. I for one would be willing to help take photos and work on the bike and post up a step by step for people to use on their own bikes.

i know we have had a few write ups and we could bring those into the section and i can help with photo's and write ups if needed on new ones.

just a little check list of things we could add

how to:
lube your chain
how to correctly check your bike before you ride, and maybe an after ride check list
clean your air filter
replace your headlight bulbs
remove your rims (so you can get a cheaper install rate on your tires)
install a new chain (had to do this with davec last weekend, learned alot )

maybe how to install a slip-on exhaust, install a new air filter, install pc3 usb

maybe we can make them a new thread, sticky it, and lock it so no one can it out.

i think if we make the how-to's sticky and the questions drop below then that would be ok, or just make it two sections..

How to section? We have one.

Cluttered? Use the search function or the Advanced search function.

Too many stickies will push any new posts way down imo.

we have that section and if someone wants to post in it go ahead. its not up to the mods to make every how to thread.

no need to split anything up. if i need tech info i use the search feautre but usually get in model specific forums like kawiforums.com
