CCS License /Practice

This may be a great opportunity for some of you folks to get your track on. CCS will be providing 75.00 full day practice at MSRH. That along with a 75.00 race license class and you are looking at a 150.00 trackday AND you become a licensed racer, which gains you entry to some other tracks. There is no pre-registrtaion required, just show up ready to ride and learn by 7:30am. Hope some of you can make it out for the first ever bike race at MSRHouston. Should be a good show with some good purse money on the line. Come get you some.

Do they have any agreements with any tracks like CMRA has at Oak hill? (Or can you use your CCS license at Oak Hill to go practice like your CMRA one?)

If this is your first time on the track it may not be for you. I think it will be mostly racers out there and such so high speed, close passing, and basically very novice unfriendly. But I maybe wrong.

if it's like cmra race practice.....your bike must be able to pass tech inspection. which means all brakes functionable, self closing throttle, properly adjusted chain, safety wired and with race body work or belly pan for those naked bikes.

i'm sure they will be able to accept credit cards as well as cash.

Yes you can use a CCS license to ride OHR, they only stipulate licensed racers. There will be four groups for practice so everyone should find a comfortable speed group. Cash, check, or credit is fine, bike must be able to pass a RACE TECH inspection, so pretty much no street bikes due to open belly pans, lightsd etc. This is a race license class, not a how to ride fast on the track class. Race license also gets you into Race Only days with LMS.
