Yeah, I'm biased They pretty much call them even. Busa gets slight edge in HP, 1/4 mile time and sportiness, ZX is comfier and lighter.

Was a weak ZX-14 tested though. Wasn't it roughly 10rwhp down from the 06-07?

I thought their dyno numbers looked pretty fair.

Ha! Yeah, the testers all talk about "for the amount of mileage I ride everyday, I need the comfort of the Kawasaki."

I'll sacrifice a lil comfort for power and ability any day. If I wanted a mile cruncher I'd get something else. - I can ride my Busa all day though.

The '08 ZX-14 is running too rich from the factory up top which is causing a decrease in top end hp. Not sure why Kawasaki set it up so rich on the top end. It looks like the bikes are pretty close with the Busa having the edge in handling. I would still like to see a comparison with some simple bolt on mods and tuning.

Well you have an 05 Busa, not the 08. So comparing an 05 Busa to the closest 14, the 2006. . . Kawi wins in comfort AND power.

Just stirring the pot, I like both. And 5hp when you over 160 really ain't sheit.

Those dyno pulls suck for both bikes.......the numbers suck....not to mention they both peak at 9200 and 9600 which seems odd to me.... I have a feeling there is some dyno trickery going on or they are "estimated" dyno pulls. I guess they could have been dynoed on a Factory Pro dyno, those read 10% lower then a Dj250...

Either way, let the debate begin:

no hate here... what ever gives your nautical device buoyancy is what I say. But there will alway be the king of the block controversy as long as hyperbikes are produced.

Well I'll take either one. If it's a 14, the side gills have GOT to go. If it's the Busa, that tail section HAS to be replaced with a 1k tail. Other than that, I'll be happy, and going wayyyy faster than I need to go.

I would rather push a Busa than ride a ZX-14.
And the Busa would still be fatster...
