it's just funny that more than half of our new threads on this board are in the "off topic" section.

and when a thread finally comes up in one of the other sections....and they get pw'd...it's extremely annoying. especially when you have to filter out pages of bs.

not saying that we should have a postwhore hanging around the threads....just saying maybe if we took away the post count....people wouldn't be all about post whoring.

as i said earlier, didn't mean to offend anyone by my request....just hate to see the site go downhill. i am also another person that doesn't frequent this site like i used to, because of all the drama and post whoring that people tend to attract on here.

i'm not saying there should be NO POSTWHORING allowed....just saying it should be somewhat under control.
thats funny... I agree but I think its almost like trying to bring peace to the Middle East... sounds great but its a long way away from that... A LONG WAY

i understand this is the internet, and people can say and do what they want, so i don't complain much any more, i just stay away for the most part.

maybe you should call it... "irrelevant posters" rather than PWs.

no offense taken. i just hate to see the PWs called out for something they dont do. like i said before, its normally joe blow that is whoring the on topic section, not the PWs.

and... its winter time, you can expect to see less about bikes, and more personal . when the weather gets better, everyone will be on their bikes instead of on their computers.

The way I see it, MH is an interactive online 'community'. If it was only about motorcycle related information, then using forum software was the wrong choice. Wiki software would have been better.

I don't normally post in any other section except off topic, one because I don't know anything to really benefit anyone on here. I myself am a newb when it comes to bikes. Occassionally I post something if I think it is worthy. And you can take away the count, it doesn't matter one way or another to me. I will still talk to the others in this community the same amount.

^^^^ is an exapmle of what the true post whores do not do.... we know the appropriate place to do our posting. great post Roger, way to be the example

you will find this in the sections that clayton mentioned but rarely anywhere else by the actual PW's that you are probably referring to. this kind of stuff you get from people that really don't know better, it is hard to control those.
