Motorcycle parts in houston???::Stores::

Hey wattup fellas I just need to know where is the best place to buy motorcycle parts such as fairing stays,fairings, gear shifters, and such, oh yeah not online stores though. Does anyone know a place to get a fairing repaired, or the price of it? I can find a fairing on ebay for about $260 a little scuffed up, would that cost about as much as repairing it? Thanks H-town!

Re: Motorcycle parts in houston???::Stores::

yeah I talked to him a while back about my damages but I think some of the stuff I can fix my own such as the gear shift lever, fairing stay, magneto cover, and I just wanted to know if there is a place where I can just buy it on the spot instead of ordering it. I just want to save some labor charges heh im so broke! But yeah I'll definitely bring it to patrick for the bigger stuff such as the wiring an fairing repair, I'll leave that to the hands of the expert.

Re: Motorcycle parts in houston???::Stores::

Yeah just some OEM parts... I have a 2003 GSX-R 750. I just tried to remove the fairing and it looks like 1 of the screw is bent preventing me from removine the side fairing. This sucks, i dont want to strip the screw how should I get it out? It looks like its bent in like a "L" shape.

My favorite shop is Powersports of Houston, they're at 529 and Eldridge. They're number is (713)896-7676, you'll want to talk to Eric or Sean

Re: Motorcycle parts in houston???::Stores::

also, if you want don't find the part you need in town, ask one of the salvage patrs yards to run it on the hotline nationwide. sam's has done that for me before. or look online for a salvage yard hotline search and put in your parts request, etc... good luck dude.
