RIP My prayers go out to the family and friends. I hope the driver shows some remorse and turns himself in.

I saw the brother in law of Patrick today and saw the bike. It was a 2008 Hayabusa. It really wasn't messed up that bad. I am not so sure that it hit a car or not based off of the damage I saw. His brother in law, the owner of the dealership, said that Patrick got into a fight with his sister and went out drinking that night. Which explains why he was out at those hours. The bike was brand new and had about 20 miles on it. I will upload the pictures of the bike when I have a connection. I cannot upload them from my camera to my iPhone.

He definately hit something and was ejected forward-look at the rear of the gas tank. His crotch/body impacted the tank and dented it in, so whatever he hit was definately in front of him. I have seen this type of damage before. I can see him running into the back of a car. So sad!
RIP Bro

Riding in "this" town hasn't changed any.

Lots of extenuating circumstances in almost all of these fatalities, many seem to have circumstances that make it the rider's fault.

These things happen a lot more than you all hear about.

RIP to the rider, condolences to the family and friends.

Thank you.. If u ride out of control things like this will happen! Yes there have been ppl killed by cars hitting them etc. So its not always something the rider could have changed but get a grip ppl. Wouldnt this be a prime example of why not to hop on your bike as a stress reliever!?

right you are and he was going at least 20mph faster then it was I would be good to see if there is a bumper dent in the rim if there is my guess he was going 50 faster.
