I just wasn't sure if John can offer the prices as he does on the 002s
Or close to these prices.

They are going to import more 601ss
What happened was a freak thing. 3-4 scooter companies in Europe, now spec the 601ss as their OEM tire, thus taking a very large amountof tires. Since the scooter market is some important in Europe, Bridgestone chose to didicate most/all of the available tires to them. They are in production with the replacements, and have been promised a very large amount once they hit US soil.

BTW there are a few trickle down MotoGP surprises coming soon, but the current product line has no price increases for 2008.

fyi, if you didn't already know, you cannot run slicks in superstock classes. if you wanna run slicks, make sure you have an extra set of wheels to make an easy swap. unless you don't plan on running any superstock classes. i think you'll be fine on DOT race tires.

I just bought a set of the bridgestone BT-002's from a site called motosport.com and I will be trying them out this season for the first time. I only paid $260 for the set.

You bought the 120 / 180 combo correct?

Those are the BT002RS tires, NOT the race tire.

They're good for street /trackdays, but not all out competition.

Kinda like a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT.

Lastly FWIW, both Hutch and I sell the BT002RS for that same price, everyday and keep them in stock.
