Did you read the post?

"Things Need Repaired:
1. Re-assign a VIN from the DPS because the thief grinded it off
2. Headlight Bracket
3. New rear tire cause it's worn out
4. Various nuts/bolts"

Only headache I see is with the DPS. Headlight bracket is easy, rear tire....easy, Nuts and bolts....Should be easy Assuming this is all it REALLY needs

You ever heard of a trailer or pick up truck? I'd be willing to help

There's no telling how much $ it truely needs to be fixed. Im sure you could take it to Patrick and have him look it over. Or if yall go to look at it I will try to go with ya

i didnt see the air ducts in those pics so see if they are with it. but other than that tell her to call dps and find out how hard its gonna be to get the numbers reassigned. if easy then tell her to go for it if she has the cash

There's still the remaining air duct that connects to the rubber portion that extends through the grill underneath the headlight... shouldn't cost much at all.

I wouldn't have any problem walking away from this bike for $4k.

However, unless they found it too, the engine should have a matching vin on the back of the tranny or somewhere similar to that.

I'd still have a problem paying more than a couple grand for this bike... something doesn't seem right.

why dont they show any pics of the right side? its an unmolested bike. not even frame sliders. but the thing is i would only pay 2500-3000 for that bike. r1's in that condition are going for about 4 thousand right now. the vin being gone would worry me a little. i know it would be a hassle to insure that bike too.
