Income Tax return

Uncle Sam felt kind enough to give me back $8 this year.

I paid roughly 1150 times that in withholding.

Awesome!!

Anyway, what are you gonna do with your slice?

Since we're on the subject. I've always done my taxes myself, I'm an dependant and only make very little money(full time college student) with 1 exemption on my W2. Would it be advisable to let H&R or the like prepare my taxes for me? I usually only get like $70 anyways, so I'm assuming I should just do it myself in the 10 or so minutes it would take me?

do it yourself. lots of online resources to help you out as well.

using H&R or the likes is for people with more complicated paperwork....and people with no time and would rather let them do it for a fee.

Ever since I got married, I've never had a tax refund ... I've always had to pay more ... I knew getting married would be trouble...

401K folks ... hide as much as you can from uncle sam ...

Like Racer said, use TurboTax. I've used it every year and have never had a refund under a grand. Guess my raise this year put a hurtin' on my refund.

Yep, new baby this year, I got on turbotax with a guestimate, and it is looking like 4k for me. I'm paying down the note on my truck. Gonna probably get another commuter car, probably CRX or Del Sol, and the del sol will be just to make Chris jealous.
