bar end mirrors? Any better than std mirrors?

Are they just for looks or do they really provide better rear viewing past the elbows?

The CRGs are great! With the convex lens, I can see all the way around to the other side. I also have a standard type mirror for the other side (Rizoma) so I can have true image sized view, but the CRGs give me the best view overall.

BTW, I first installed Motrax mirrors, but they are also flat. The convex lens of the CRG makes a big difference.

I have the CRG's on a couple of my bike and really like them, however they're all naked models so they have higher bars.
I'm not sure how well they'd work on lower bars.

I have the smaller 2" CRG blindsight mirrors and like 'em alot. Better vision than the OEM mirrors and NO vibration at all.

Naked bikes FTW! (un)Fortunately, I got a close-up look at Patrick's bikes, and I immediately realized I'm not quite done with the "Modding" bug!!

His bikes are SWEET!
