Awesome Idea!

All business's need to start charging lawyers and doctors the same amount for services rendered. No really ya'll with me?
Think they would sh.. themselves? Or just whine like they normally do. Don't make me sue you.

Absolutely!
I believe all doctors and lawyers should be charged on the same scale they charge us.

Case in point: I went to the doctor this past Monday.
I spent 30 minutes in the waiting room / exam room waiting for him.
I peed in a cup for the nurse, and she left.
The doctor came in and I spoke with him, I you not, a toal of 3 minutes and he left.

Total charge? $138.00!! WTF!?!

That's outrageous.

How would you like to be required to keep the same insurance he does too?

When he screws up he can't just tell the patient to bring the bike back to him and he'll take care of it. "Sorry I left that scalpel in your leg sir, just whenever you get a chance swing back by and I'll remove it, no charge!"

Seriously, $138.00 for 3 minutes?

That's not even including any lab fees?

Let say between him and his nurse they spent a total of 5 minutes with me.

That's $1656.00 an hour!

Come now, you have to admit that's a bit on the ridiculous side.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, that's the prenegotiated discounted rate they give Humana Insurance, which is 40% off!

I think that they can charge that bc they do have a load of schooling behind them and MOST of us cant do what they do... They are experts... Many people take their bikes/cars to shade tree mechanics but would you do the same with a shade tree doctor... Fukc NO!!! so you pay for what they offer... The ability to heal and heal right usually the first time... bc a life, unlike a dead bike or car, once its dead, cant be brought back to life...

popo, you got family that's in the medical field?
It's mostly just a joke poking fun!
(note, I said mostly)

I understand your point about saving a life, but a lawyers reason for high fees is?

Your right it takes a crook to twist the law to benefit a crook.
As I said most of us reputible businesses have spent more time working to make it just that. So we should start charging outrageous costs?

So who's to blame? Us for not doing something about it, or them for educating themselves and being in a position to actually make these changes? I don't think this is the case however.
