It is not stupid to wheelie. It is a skill just like riding a bike in the first place. PEople only hate on wheel'ers because they dont' know how but it is just a skill like anything. I mean I can't ride a unicycle but i don't hate on em because I can't. If I took the time I could learn to do that too.

Why not just give me a ticket for wheeling then the puuuubbblic(said like Ron White) can make money off my wheelie and I don't have to bog down the jail system that should be harboring real criminals not wheel'ers that is just silly.

YOU may be able to wheelie safely. YOU may be able to drive or ride well at high speeds. YOU may be good at this stuff.

But 99.5% of the drivers out there DON'T HAVE THE SKILLS to wheelie safely, haul through traffic, or whatever. So it has been made illegal to do these things, because MOST people can't do them safely.

JAIL is just a stiffer deterent than a fine for doing something that gets alot of people hurt.

So you still think it should be a trip to jail? I think the punishment exceeds the crime. Why not a expensive ticket instead wouldn't less people run if that was the case. I mean say a young rider is wheelin'g and you flick on your lights. He knows he is going to jail but if he runs he might not. So why would anybody ever pull over if they KNOW they are going to go to jail for a wheelie. Don't you think a high fine would make more sense not only for the riders time but the cops time and the court's time? Dang, it is a wheelie not a bank robbery.

just build a unicycle with a motor, then you don't have to be worried about the wheelies

I dont think it fits the crime, but if you want to change it, start lobbying...

only way to get things done.

but fact is, most of the population are car drivers, not moto heads. And they HATE seeing people wheelie.
