Corner workers, plese keep an eye on the weather so you can dress appropriately. I would recommend some sort of boots or shoes you do not mind gettng muddy if the course recieved moisture a few days prior or on race day.(note I didn't say the R word) You should also plan on bringing a small cooler to have your beverge of choice at hand, (NO ALCOHOL!!) Lunch will be provided for you. Hat sunscreen would be smart even if it's cloudy. We'll be sure to put the ladies in corners with port-o-potties. There will be a one hour lunch break mid day. Again I thank the MotoHouston crowd for pulling together to help make the first CCS-south race happen. I'm pumped, and ready to race again!!!

You would be surprised how much you can learn by " just sitting in a corner".

You don't have to take the money if you'd rather donate your time. You would be giving back to the club in it's infancy, and would be looked upon with great favor.(wink, wink) I got my competition number today........even got my first choice!!

Sincerely,

Will the names of the corner workers be posted at the gate so we don't have to pay the entrance fee?

If anyone wants to meet and ride out or drive out together, I'm from Dickinson. PM me.

It's MAINLY about the experience, but that roughly $100 is being used, at least in part, to pay for my trackday with ya. Sooooo, if you're offering roughly $100 off that, it's a deal. 13 huh? Guess you're not superstitious. Hopefully I'll be able to get #4 when my time comes.

Navigator, I'd venture to guess that the people at the front gate will have all of our names. I'm just planning on being there at 6:45 with everything I may need/want out there, along with my I.D.

Ez ups might be a good idea as not all stations will have a stand. If you have stakes to hold them down that would be ideal in case we have any wind. Your names are on a list at the gate so you will not pay gate fees.

bUCK WHAT KIND OF TRANSPORT WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE corner for the worker or can we take our ride of choice (my GS) and stash it in the weeds, not an issue either way, but an easy-up is pretty big to haul on a bike...

every track and race org has different policies...but i'm sure they will have a truck take you out to your corners.....and some corners you MAY be able to drive your own vehicle out to.

i think you're question probably won't be answered until the time comes.

Don't plan on driving to the corner stations. You will be transported.
