JUST GOT THIS EMAIL LOL

(I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat
on the back!)

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I
pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In
order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test
with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the
distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I
have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no
problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other
hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their , doing
drugs, while I work. . . Can you imagine how much money the state would
save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check
? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you
all will pass it along, though . . . Something has to change in this
country -- and soon!

i hear you, and you make a good point, how do you think they would change that rule? my only problem is people who know they cant afford so many children and pop um out like jack rabbits, i mean dam, a rubber only cost llike a 25 cents, much less than millions each year in taxes

Easy fix. Like what was posted I too have to take a test at random. In the past for some employers when taking the initial prehire test that would have to come out of the applicants pocket, 35.00, if you passed and the company hired you they paid you back, if you failed well tough.

The gov. could do the same thing and they would still be millions ahead.

something I learned a few months ago that me off, These dumb **** having kids can get gov. assistance for 5 fuking years for every kid they have. WTF?????

The other sad part about it is the people that can afford to have and educate kids dont have them, or have 1.5. Seriously where will society be in a few more decades when the world is being populated with 10 dumb or lazy druggies for every 1.5 smart ones.

i agree with that, but as gimp said, it would be costly. the idea is sound tho, and if they found an economical way to make it work, im all for it.

btw, i was raised on welfare. back when foodstamps were actual "stamps" (dollar sized print), used clothes, beans and rice twice a day and puffed wheat for breakfast, electricity constantly getting turned off, etc.. youll find that 90% of the time those that "advocate" for the poor have never been poor themselves, nor do they even know anyone in poverty.

I think the initial cost of the test would be over shadowed by the the money recouped from the people who lost their free rides.

Not only should we be drug testing any one depending on social services but, everyone involved in our political systems. All drug data collected on our politicians should be publicly accessible under the terms of The Freedom of Information Act. If they do not want to provide this data an immediate dismissal from position should be required.

if they made a law that made random drug testing a requirement for welfare benefits ... someone would find a way to label it racist ... just saying ...

One is free to do as they please as long as it is not with my money.

, I think all drugs should be legalized and some should be mandatory but, i certainly should not have to buy them for you.

Because the entire country would be in prison.
