I have the "Nicky mod" done (around 3K miles). I never have encountered any of the issues stated above in the thread. I suppose if you crash and you happened to have your hand in the area of your foot, some damage could occur. Or possibly your extra baggy jeans become entangled in the sprocket would suck a little.
Yes, it's a bling mod. Everyone is prone to squidly tendencies.

Im gonna mod your mod.....


Get a 5 dollar piece of plexiglass if this is for visuals only; lexan just a few more bucks... I have several sheets at work I use for everything; drill in place and soften the edges. You got ur look and still retain fingers,shoe laces and ego when you can't put your left foot down at a stop light and kiss the pavement.

wear proper riding boots and laces won't be an issue... How would you put your fingers in there while it is moving?

i suppose i crash more than all of you, and i ride with pants and DC's (shoes) when i hit the streets and stunt.
