Anybody do any fibre glass here?

Saw this cool mod of a guy who made his headlight housing out of fibre glass to put 2 E55 hid projectors in them. Any body here who does that kind of work or how much it would cost?

I do that, I don't think you'll want to pay for it though... the time it takes doesn't really justify the ends.

I'll dig up a link for a friend of mine that did a clinic on how to make your own fiberglass and carbon fiber parts.

Kick I need to get a garage so I can start tearing my bike apart but I probably just wait till next winter. P.S this is what the guy said about the gixxer body a while back

[quote]The parts in the pics have a silver base, the fabric is silver with a candy paint job that makes for all the shades of red (look real cool in person). Carbon parts only need polished or clear coat and polish so they would be less $.

For a ballpark $ I can do the GSXR set in the pic's for 1,900.00 ( street: tank, upper, lower, tail, fender) but you have to see that stuff in person to realize why. If anyone runs Fasttrax or WERA NC next year you can check it out.

Why don't you just split headlight apart and retrofit some projectors in there like this......

Anybody do any fibre glass here?
