There has to be more to that story! Only reason they would send him home is if he were unsafe and had an attitude problem!

there are 3 sides to every story.

if you read on here, AWESOME has lotsa of people who would recommend them. then you hear 1 story from a person who got dismissed from class, and the schools no good anymore.

are you needing the experienced or basic class, i bet your gonna need the experienced. and most schools only put those on 1x a mos. so if you need it in a certaintime frame, you might not be able to choose where you go.

+1

not everyone should be riding MCs......some should stick to a bicycle or walking..

not everyone should pass the class(s), but most do. I have taken a class with spring branch and with awesome. would highly recomend either outfit, unless you have no business riding at all.

Basic class for learning to ride, get your license. Advanced course for when you know how to ride, for ticket dismissal and slow speed technique.

Sorry. No way. No How. There is absolutely no way he was sent home because he "wasn't perfect".

We have one of the lowest failure rates in the STATE for "Errant Behavior" which is what it's called when someone is sent home.

It takes quite a bit to be asked to leave one of our classes, and when it's done, that student receives a phone call from one of our owners as a checkup to be sure they feel like they were treated fairly. We also offer SEVERAL alternatives to them which very frequently include FREE private lessons.

There is definitely more to this story and if you'd like to PM me the person's name, I'd be more than happy to check on it, but I'll bet that it was someone that arrived late for class and was sent home. They're usually the complainers.

You don't have to buy any type of driving record for an MSF course. What exactly are you trying to do?

Gotcha. The driving record is to show that you haven't taken Defensive Driving or a Motorcycle Safety Course within the last year. The driving record and the MSF course are two entirely different things that the court is requesting. They really have nothing to do with each other.

If that doesn't help figure out which one you need, you'll probably need to call the Court Clerk and verify which one they want.

On the MSF course, if you already have a VALID Motorcycle "M" endorsement on your license, you can take an Experienced RiderCourse (ERC) to dismiss the ticket.

If you do not have the M endorsement (commonly called a motorcycle license), you'll need to take the Basic RiderCourse (BRC) to dismiss the ticket.

Dude, I took the class just for the of it with Awesome Cycles and trust me, out of 22 people there were some of the people that were in the class that had never been on a bike, much less were even close to being perfect, and still I saw the instructors take their time and go over stuff with them and be nothing but polite and professional.

Can't say if all of them passed, since I don't know; but I can say that nobody was sent home.

I been teaching skydiving classes for a bit over 6 years now, and still I learned a thing or two about dealing with students in their class. I was thoroughly impressed by their instructors and teaching techniques.

Now just clear your mind and do a search including this thread and think about this... over 1 bad account that you heard of them there are how many good ones in this website alone?

No, now that would be too simple and logical, it's much easier and "cool" to cap on someone because he heard it from one of his "homies" never mind what the real story is.:/:

Next time before you regurgitate something you've heard, especially if it's negative, check around and find out for yourself, don't be a sheep and follow along with the herd.

I've sent literally hundreds of students to Awesome Cycles. I have never had a single one come back and report anything other than a good experience with them.

As far as your driving record, you'll need to send off to Austin for it, or you can apply for it online here:

http://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/N...icenseeManager

You need 3A which is a certified copy for Defensive Driving.
