Re: Galveston Bike Rally

I am down most of the weekend, I just know that on Friday of that week I am needing my tires changed out, oil changed and perhaps a new tank. Depending on time all this gets done I am either riding down that Friday, if not I am definently heading there Saturday morning. But post up times and suggestion meet up points. We can ride together or seperate, but one thing is for sure I am getting there. But more fun riding down in packs then solo.

"One change this year will be "Promenade" fee for people who want to ride their bikes on Strand avenue. The charge is $5 for the entire weekend and all proceeds go to help offset the cost of City services to support the Rally. The Rally is still free to attend."

Directly from there website. Stating that the rally is FREE, but to ride on the strand it is $5

Either that is a lot of people stuffed into one place or that is one monster party that wont end. :dontknow: What ever it is we either need a head count, or if anyone happens to have a place there, let us know por favor.

Re: Galveston Bike Rally

Bike Rally has been delayed due to Hurrican Rita.
The 2005 Lone Star Rally has been rescheduled to the weekend of October 27th to 30th.
Letting people know now so that you can reschedule your events and plans.
