Re: Dove hunting

I went dove hunting with my uncle and grandfather when i was 8. I saw them shooting the guns and I wanted to try.....they started laughing as soon as i picked it up, they never told me to brace it right, well, it knocked my shoulder off and i was on the ground.....they just kept laughing.

Re: Dove hunting

im sorry, but its not an open invitation,, as my post stated i do this as a company function where we invite and take our clients out as an appreciation for what they do with us as a company.

sorry if you guys got the wrong idea. if i do find a local place to hunt dove i would def. invite everyone that was interested, i'll see what i can do as far as a local hunt...

this years hunt will be in Beeville BTW

Re: Dove hunting

Little bastards are hard to hit and a mess to clean.. Ducks and geese though are worth the work but you need a mess of doves to make it worthwhile

Re: Dove hunting

Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy takes out his phone and calls the emergency services.

He gasps: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says: "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a gunshot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?"
