Buell 1125r

Saw an 1125r in person for the first time on campus yesterday, and that nose fairing is HUGE! Its a decent looking bike with loads of customizing potential, but I just couldnt get over how big the nose is in person.
Does anyone know if an all naked version is in the works?

Needs a streetfighter nose REALLY bad.

You don't want a buell man. Everybody I have ever know that had a buell that rides with bikes sells it within the first couple of months.

Beside you have the best production bike ever built except the yellow/blk k5 gixxer 1k

He has a problem with high speeds and quick acceleration then.

Its nothing carnal, but I totally am in love with my bike. It never talks back, is always ready for a ride, puts a smile on my face everytime I get on it and still cost less than a girlfriend.

Let's not forget that Erik Buell designed the '83 Buell RW750, one of the most aerodynamic motorcycles in modern history. It had a wide front fairing, as wide as the rider's shoulders, and a Kamm inspired tail. I'm pretty sure Erik incorporated alot of his reaearch into his decision for the wide front nose of the 1125R. This bike is intended to be more practical for street applications, rather than all-out performance. He designed it around the rider, not neccessarily around the track. Form follows Function with the 1125R.
