well I am not tired of my 600, I only posted it on Craiglist to see if I can get some extra money and get my truck finished up. If not try to find me another 600. I have done plenty of rides with friends and even when I had my gs500 I could keep up even with the bigger bikes in the turns if not leave some of them. All around I think they are great unless you think you are going to be hitting big enough roads to get in the high 3digit mph. I have a friend who had a vfr 750 then a zx6r and all in 6months then jump to a new zx10. I don't know how mainy times I hear him say shouldn't have jumped on it so fast. He thinks he is a bad a$$ rider only cuz he is crazy enough to take a houston freeway turn going 150mph. To me there is no need for it, 750 I would really sto at if you don't want to much of an over kill. That way you can play with it and not have to be gentle cuz of the mad power they put out. That is just my 2cents.

Yeah, in first grade you learn basic grammar but in highschool you have to write full essays, so why not write an essay in first grade?

remember like racer X says... it is your first bike... NOT your last. start small and work up... not start big and hurt yourself.

he has a point on starting small. I get that saying from a lot of my older rider friends. They actually respect I went with the 500 first then a 600. They think my friend that went to zx10 within a yr is crazy.

Hey I have gotten up to 150 on my bike then ran out of road. I don't mind being up there but like in houston freeways kind of scares me since Romans (rip) accident. In the country roads I guess I don't worry as much. For kind of bikes really all is in prefference if you like kawi go for it. Just depends on your budget. Like you said you want to spen around 3k for it older gsxr or kawi would be easy to find maybe if not an r6. Cbrs seem to hold the value and go for a bit higher I think.
