I seem to remember reading that a MotoGP riders dry lap times would drop by approx 10% in the wet not allowing for torrential/monsoon weather.
The lap record at my chosen circuit is a 1.04 on a full blown Superbike.
I would expect any of the top 10 GP guys to drop this down into the 1.02s with a bit of practice time and setup.
Using the 10% rule, he would be doing something in the 1.08/1.09 bracket in the wet.
NO trackday rider I've ever seen can get anywhere near that !!!
That is fractionally slower than the BSS600 lap record in the dry.
Is 10% right ????????????????? Seems quick still.
