It is a blast, and relatively inexpensive depending on the location that you choose. This year the snow has been great, and avalanche control in colorado has been outstanding. Not even crowded during the holidays. I'll probably make another trip by the end of february while its still cold.

If you are sore after the first day, go at it again the next day and itll go away, plus you'll be suprinsingly better the second day, every single time.

Its the perfect alternative for not being able to ride.

looks like fun Nut!!! We had those kind of "hills" within a few hours of Chicago that I got to practice on...continue to go...you will get better...then go to CO or Tahoe or some big Mtn. and it's like a fantasy world....3 times the ride time and the lifts go twice as fast. I'll be in CO the 1 st weekend of Feb....I can't wait.

I was in Angel Fire last weekend and snowboarded the first day but went back to skiing cause I like that too much to spend the entire weekend learning to snowboard and probably break something.

A friend told me I should get an Azzpad but I didn't think it was going to be that bad.

Yeah, I have a goofy foot.
Skateboard, wakeboard, surfing, wind surfing... any board sports I've done, my right foot would just stick out.

Now we have another thing we can enjoy together!
Next time I see you guys, I'll spend more time on my board than my .

I hate you ... my snowboard hangs in my garage alone and abandond for the past 5 years ... ever since I moved to Houston. When I live in California I was 1.5 hours away from Mountain High and had season lift passes. EVERY weekend was spent on the slops shreading it up making fun of skiiers.

oh well ...

The bunny hill is the hardest thing to ride on a snowboard. Get on some blues so you can actually get an edge.

Next time if I'm around during the winter, maybe me, Rick, Tony, Jason and whoever would like to come along, can get together to snowboard somewhere in Colorado.
That'll be fun.
