It's not stressful to run the engine around 70. I'd say, depending how high you rev, around 5th or 6th gear and maybe about 8-10k rpms. Maybe more.

Really anything 90 and above is stressful and slow up to 100

Get a used one and get some miles under your belt then sell that hooker for what you paid for it.

Remember it's your first bike not your last.

good advice

you know anytime you ride a bike you are stressing it. I doubt the the little ex250 will last more then 80 to 100k at the 70-75 mph.

If you buy my bike, I'll bring it to you, show you how to ride it, and shake your hand.

I'm still debating the pros/cons of getting a new bike vs. a used bike. I'm trying to look at all sides, figuring out how much the bike initially costs, how much I can sell the bike for, figuring out how long I plan on keeping the bike. I'll let you know about what decision I come to, even though I feel this bike will be sold VERY soon. Good luck to your sale also

i recommend used, the 250 will be your first bike and training bike, you'll prolly have it a yr before moving up, so no use taking the depreciation hit for that kinda time frame.

Do you think now that the new model Ninja's are coming out, its going to decrease the price of the older model Ninja's if we're trying to resell them?

None :(

i'm in a similar debate. my only worry on a used 250 vs a new is if it wasn't taken care of. Considering many 250s are beginner bikes, beginners usually ride them and probably make their mistakes, either in riding or mechanically, and a mechanical failure on a bike seems like more of a significant life event than on a beginner car.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
