How Many Of You....

....listen to your iPods/mp3 player while riding?? I know its a safety hazard but it helps me relax while I'm riding. I keep it at a reasonable volume so I can still hear any emergency vehicles/horns.

just wonderin

I do almost everytime I ride (every day). It helps me stay focused, but that's just me!

We ride sportbikes......yes you want to relax and enjoy your ride......but we ride sportbikes. You want to be as unrelaxed (attentive) while relaxing and enjoying the ride.IMHO

Most of you wear ear plugs, don't you? Think of it as earplugs that sing to you and if you keep your volume down you still hear everything the same...

i completely understand but I'm bein completely honest when I say I focus more on my surroundings with a little music to drown out the wind noise. BUT i do understand the safety issue and if I feel uncomfortable or unsafe, I switch it off

These always get me.
We jump on a SS bike and ride "you know how" but when it comes to music we draw the Fkn Line cause it's dangerous!!!

BLHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LMAO! The man's got a point.

I don't mind wind noise, but I find that on longer, relaxed rides that the constant drone of wind noise can be almost mesmerizing (not quite the right word, but the feeling) and can get more distracting then a lil bit of music.

just my .02

I've tried it a couple of times but end up throwing it in the tank bag. Part of the reason I ride is to get away from phones, radios, televisions, chatty people, work, etc. I guess I enjoy the solitude.
