Do any of you guys wear eye glasses when riding?

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

I wear mines, and it fits fine. It's just a pain to put the helmet on and off when wearing them.

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

Normally I wear a dark lens on my helmet but since It's dark when I leave for work I'll wear the clear lens and bring some shades with me for the ride home. It's kinda wierd though, I feel like robocop cause you stab them into your helmet after you put it on.

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

I wear Gucci glasses that go over the ear straight kinda like Oakleys. Awhile back ago when I wrecked they held on really tight. I say if you have glasses that curve behind the ear, then it will be a real hassle putting them on with your helmet on. But like I said, when I put my helmet on, I can just slide my glasses on. right:

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

sometimes I wear mine and I can slide mine right on. And they curve behind the ear just a bit. It also depends on your helmet structure.

Did you get goggles w/ perscriptions?
Or do you only need your glasses for reading?

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

I wear my normal glasses in my helmet, some helmets are better for glasses than others.

How much did that cost and did you set a payment plan? Does insurance cover any part of that?

Re: Helmet/Eyeglasses

My insurance didn't cover it at all. It was $1300 an eye. I got it done at Lasik Plus off of a Buffalo Speedway I think.

They a couple diff. payment plans you can choose from. I paid half at the beg. and did a payment plan for the other half. It was done Dec. 31st last year. Started this year great

That was honestly the best thing I've ever spent money on and I'd do it again.
